St. Hugh's Bones series is done, I'm working on studies to discover what I can say in my work about my Mesa Verde residency.
The
CSO tunnel has been sealed up, and a big part of it is already working to keep Narragansett Bay cleaner. I was hoping my experience would develope into a series of work, but so far have only done these slideshows.
The Utility Shaft and
The Main Shaft). I haven't ruled out returning to the subject though, either in an investigation of tunnel imagery, or circle imagery, both of which are intriguing.
I'm rather intrigued by a little hidden river called the RUNNINS RIVER which begins in Seekonk and runs into Hundred Acre Cove in Barrington. I'd like to walk as much of its bank as possible and do a series of paintings of it.
I am drawing owls, inspired by the screech owls that I hear and sometimes see in the summer. I had an idea to do a series of night creatures, owls, bats, etc. Whatever is moving around while we sleep.
