I was glad to get this photo from Badlands National Park of my painting (on left) installed in the visitor's center there.

I donated the painting as part of my contribution as Artist in Residence at the park in the fall of 2002.

I'm really caught up now in the work of an artist I only discovered a week ago, but who will soon have her name bandied about the art world again. Lee Bontecou made a splash in NY city in the 60's, and has a retrospective in LA of work from the last 30 years which she has never exhibited.
Her work is fabulous and will be coming to the Museum of Modern Art in New York next summer.

My work is going more slowly than I expected. The 2nd of the Badlands tryptic is challenging me like a puzzle, but I kind of knew that one would give me trouble.
