The utility
shaft of the CSO project, Providence

|
I am now working on a series that has to do with machinery and
drawings from a WWI SCRAPBOOK
of photographs of airplane parts
put together by a Russian soldier, who was an artist in his composition.
I also may incorporate photos taken when I
had a chance to go down 250 feet into solid bedrock into the huge
TUNNEL
they
began to drill in 2003 under downtown Providence for the sewer
overflow project. I took a lot of photos and plan to do paintings
of the tunnel and massive machinery involved.

I'm rather
intrigued by a little hidden river called the RUNNINS
RIVER which begins in Seekonk and runs into Hundred Acre
Cove in Barrington. I'd like to walk as much of it's bank as possible
and do a series of paintings of it. |
